Disclaimer about the midis page

This page is full of these little nifty musical files we call "Midis" and which send many events to your soundcard to play some rather weird tunes. It is a popular song format nonetheless, since it's very small and easy to make. Midis has been used in many kind of productions, gaming-related or not.

The midis found in that page are freeware. You can freely use the songs found on this page as long you do credit me for the music and the use of these are for non-commercial purposes. If you use my songs anywhere, you may even drop me a email and show me how you've used them. :)

Good listening!!

PS. The ratings on that page obviously do not reflect the global rating of that midi, it's just used by me to highlight which songs of mine I prefer and/or hate.

Midis - 2003

Cuntorama (Junkman Medley Remix)

Only two words can describe this song: what the? This was more of a joke attempt at a remix of a song Beamer made (and didn't released) which was a single, messed up drumbeat that repeated endlessly. I decided to make a medley of all my worst songs based around this drumbeat for your enjoyment! As for the disgusting title, it came from Beamer, so blame him for this! :p

Rating: 3/10

A Night Holy

My own take on the Christmas song "Holy Night". It's a pretty serious attempt at recreating the song until it hits the 2:08 mark, as the song boils down to an insane drum and bass session. It's still a pretty cool song, though. :)

Rating: 7/10

Ancient Temple

Ambient, demo-esque tune. Long, and rather cool. Written for POC2, will not be used.

Rating: 7/10

Whispers Escaped Remix

Remix of a song written by Bludd and Fiskefusk, which itself is a cover of the song "Source of Secrets" which is written by Mike Oldfield. One of my best remix works ever.

Rating: 9/10

Disturbed Slumber

Experimental nonsense. If you actually make some sense out of this song, you're a daring soul. Song which was written for the now cancelled "Warped Mind" mididisk project.

Rating: 5/10

Revelations in a Astral World

Techno-acoustic ditty. Featuring soft and rather harsh-sounding parts. Song which was written for the now cancelled "Warped Mind" mididisk project.

Rating: 7/10

Unexplainable Attraction

The closest thing that sounded like a pop song on the whole Warped Mind mididisc. :) Techno-ish ditty following a 7/8 time signature. Song which was written for the now cancelled "Warped Mind" mididisk project.

Rating: 8/10

Unknown Realm

Long, ambient epic techno-ish tune which goes through many different parts. Song which was written for the now cancelled "Warped Mind" mididisk project.

Rating: 8/10

Another Day in Hell

Ambient, evil-sounding ditty which is surrounded by a collection of weird drum beats and frantic bleeps. Song which was written for the now cancelled "Warped Mind" mididisk project.

Rating: 7/10

Warped Mind

Incredibly experimental song featuring psyched, punishing drum beats and crazy melodies bouncing around. Inspired by Aphex Twin. Song which was written for the now cancelled "Warped Mind" mididisk project.

Rating: 8/10

Harmony Haven

A soft and soothing synth ballad invoking a loose Asian feel. Song which was written for the now cancelled "Warped Mind" mididisk project.

Rating: 8/10

Warped Fusion

Borderline-jazzy tune which uses many electronic and synth pads, as well as some nifty drumming. The ending sucks, but all the rest of the song is great. :)

Rating: 8/10

Is Love Real?

Peaceful synth ballad which do manage to convey some kind of emotion. Good feel.

Rating: 8/10

Cryptic Dance

Fast-paced techno song with some medieval (or even egyptian) tones added to it and a great melody mixed within that. Was written for POC2, but wasn't used.

Rating: 9/10

Dead Men's Creek

Ambient, eerie, dark, tune with a neat classical guitar line. It also features a pretty experimental part in the middle. All in all, a well-made song.

Rating: 7/10

Toy Box's Mayhem

Oh my, I have no idea about the classification of that one... to make it simple, it's a strange happy ditty with toy-ish instruments with weird percussions which slowly turns in a dark tune. Likeable and different.

Rating: 8/10

99th Street

Ambient song featuring many wicked and weird drum parts. One of my attempts at a "drill-and-bass" tune. Some drum parts are rather clumsy, but it's an interesting experiment nonetheless.

Rating: 7/10

Etheral Shadow

Calm ambient song featuring many blends of electronic pads, but it just turned out that there were too many of them in there. Pretty moody, but repetitive like hell.

Rating: 6/10

Welcome to the News!

A theme song which you'd hear in your daily news bulletin on TV. Short and sweet. Written for a school project my brother made.

Rating: 7/10

False Apology Remix

A rather happy rock song going through more dramatic parts and featuring all these lovely sawtooth leads that yours truly never seem to grow tired of. Nicely made song, although not pretty original. It still features my most complex lead melodies, yet. :) Remix of a song originally made by Beamer.

Rating: 8/10

Narrow Sidewalk

An experimental piece I've made in order to try out new styles. This is basically a blend of rap beats combined with electronica and my usual mellow songs feeling. While the middle transition could be better and some of the drumming feels loose, it still is a great song.

Rating: 8/10

Iceberg

Tense orchestral song which pictures the story of a boat sailing on the dark icy seas which afterwards collides on a iceberg, thus creating panic among the ship as people struggle on the desk desperatly trying to save their lives. Highly inspired by Titanic and Lee Jackson's "Shards". One of my most complex songs yet.

Rating: 9/10

Wind Walker

Mellow ambient piano song which afterwards blends into an heavy guitar ballad. The style is somewhat reminscent of Path of Freedom, but this song is a lot more clean. For once, I feel like that everything in this song went out the way I wanted to. One of my best midis yet.

Rating: 9/10

Happy-like synth song. It's almost something you can dance to! As I said, "almost"! Pretty catchy tune, and it's a lot happier than most of my grim midis. :)

Rating: 8/10

Soft and mellow guitar ballad which gets heavier as it progresses. My first midi which features a transition between two time signatures. The middle section is a bit confused, but it's a great midi nonetheless.
